Why this proves ownership: only someone who controls the domain's DNS or website can add the record. Refract reads it live when a coin launches; nothing is taken on trust.
The address is read at launch and written into that coin's split on chain. Changing your record later affects new launches only.
Coins launched before you verified pay your domain's escrow. Verified domains get it sent automatically once a day, or right away from Claim.
Files must be served over HTTPS without redirects.
